He served in the United States Army from 1954-1956 and is a Member of Veteran of Foreign Wars (VFW) and the American Legion Post 423.
 

Ron physically challenges himself
Ron enjoys challenging himself physically, as well as professionally. He is a lifelong runner and has ran and finished the New York Marathon multiple times. He also is an avid skier and has skied all over the world and enjoys whitewater rafting and canoeing.
